What We Do
IMAMS Tech unveils its Intelligent Motorist Alert Messaging System. At its core, IMAMS is a dynamic, high-visibility, Digital LED Messaging System that mounts atop the rear of semi-trucks and trailer doors (2"D x 6"H x 34"W). It is designed for both autonomous and driver-operated commercial vehicles and leverages a suite of modern technologies to alert motorists with precision and immediacy—far surpassing the effectiveness of traditional roadside triangles or flares.
When a truck becomes disabled, IMAMS can be triggered either automatically (via emergency flashers or vehicle diagnostics) or manually, eliminating the need for a driver to risk their life while placing warning devices as required by Regulation CFR 392.22(b)(1)(2).
Once activated, IMAMS displays a series of brightly lit, highly conspicuous messages—such as “ALERT-ALERT,” “MOVE OVER,” “SLOW DOWN,” and “DISABLED VEHICLE”—in red and amber. However IMAMS is much more than a Motorist Alert Messaging device.
IMAMS's messaging board is integrated with 4G cellular connectivity, GPS tracking, and environmental sensor allowing for remote updates and real-time data integration. Through these channels, IMAMS can broadcast location-specific alerts, receive Amber Alerts, severe weather warnings, and even display local commercial advertisements relevant to passing motorists to alert them of points of interest as they travel.
It also doubles as a High-Mount 3rd brake light, High Mount directive turn signals, and is equipped with a rear-view camera, and audible beeper. It can be retrofitted to any Truck or Trailer with a standard 7-pin wiring harness.
IMAMS can generate a monthly revenue up to $300 per unit from commercial advertisers as an added income for its owner, and pays for itself in 12 months.
The benefits range from reducing distracted driving to minimizing the danger presented by disabled vehicles, supporting both day-to-day convenience and critical emergency response.
